I have found that surprise is the
beginning of many a great Romantic escape. This past July, my wife
and I were planning our annual celebration of our first date. I told
her not to schedule anything for that day because I was planning our
outing.
The day before our date, we returned home
from an outing and I pulled the suitcases from the garage and
brought them into the house. This got her interest up. "What are
those for ?" I told she might want to have some clothes to
wear..."so pack for two days." Now I really had her going. She
did a great job of packing, including special things for a Romantic
get away. We put the suitcase in the van and began to drive. With
every change of direction she was guessing somewhere she thought we
might be going. She could hardly contain her excitement. We finally
headed into the mountains and ended up at a cabin where we had never
been before. We had a wonderful Romantic getaway in our little cabin
in the woods.
